5 DIY Ways to Decorate your Home

Decorating your home is an art and nothing like decorating by yourself.  Do you love decorating house with small but different things but don’t know how to. Here are few DIY ways to decorate your home.

1)   A simple step to stylize your bathroom 

Step1- Get white muslin according to the size of your bathroom

Step 2- Tear around 8-10 strips and throw them in the washing machine with a little die.

Step 3- Remove one strip and repeat no:2

Step 4: Repeat step3 till you get 10 strips in different shades.

Step 5- Sew all the strips onto a plain white curtain

Step 6- Beautiful ruffled shower curtain is Ready. 

 2)An outdoor chandelier:

Materials needed:  a wire basket, a few jam jars, and some pretty crystals.

Step 1: Pick out a wire basket with a handle and a flat base.

Step 2: Then hang crystals from the base and top; for a real Cinderella look, loop two strands of glass beads across the bottom.

 Step 3: Attach your outdoor chandelier to a patio roof or tree with a length of matching chain

 Step 4: Pop tea lights or votives into the jars, light the candles, and enjoy the glow.

3) Stylize your house with easy to make vases.Materials needed : Spray paint (White, orange and yellow), Vases and glass bottles invarious shapes

Step 1: First clean off any labels with a dish liquid.

Step 2: Let it dry completely before painting.

Step 3: Paint a base coat of white on the jars then let them dry completely.

Step: 4 Then spray orange in the middle of the bottle leaving a faint mist on top and bottom(2 coats of the orange is recommended) Then let dry completely.

Step 4: Mist the bottom of the bottle with the yellow spray paint until you get solidcoverage. (You will need 2 coats)That’s it! Now you can display them on a fireplace or mantle, add some fall flowers, etc

4)   Decorate your Home with  these Vintage Pillows

Step1: Collect material. Pilow forums, muslin and 4 scarves.

Step2: Pin muslin to the scarf.

Step 3: Trim the scarf and inch around the muslin

Step 4: Sew muslin to scarf

Step 5: Sew scarf/muslin pieces face to face.

Step 6: Sew 3 sides completely, put the pillow from inside and sew on the forth side.  

5)  Colour your plain white corner of your house with Old Audio Tapes and brighten your house

Things you will need: Old Audio Cassettes, Glue, Paints and Canvas Step1: Paint the old Cassettes the way you like.Step2: Stick them on the canvas and stick the canvas to the corner of the house you would like to stick.
